Sue Douglas is a seasoned journalist, media consultant and tech entrepreneur, who has spoken about the fresh career paths available within the Oxford innovation landscape, drawing on her own move from journalism into technology. She began her career in management consultancy and transitioned into medical journalism before taking on editorial roles at prominent publications including the Daily Mail, The Sunday Times, The Sunday Express and Condé Nast.

In 2022, she co-founded Veer, a machine learning start-up, with Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt.
